SHANGHAI YIYUN INDUSTRIAL CO., LTD. was established in September 2014 and specializes in the research, development, manufacturing, and sales of high-performance nano-aerogel materials. The company is a nationally recognized High-Tech Enterprise and was honored as a “National Specialized, Refined, Differentiated, and Innovative ‘Little Giant’ Enterprise” in August 2022.
YIYUN boasts an outstanding R&D team, including one National Distinguished Young Scholar, one Provincial Leading Talent in Science & Technology Entrepreneurship, one Provincial Innovation & Entrepreneurship Team, and nearly 20 researchers holding master’s degrees or higher. The company owns 16 invention patents and 5 utility model patents, with over 50 patent applications filed to date.
Its high-performance nano-aerogel composite products exhibit world-class comprehensive performance and lead the domestic market, achieving full self-reliance and supply chain security in thermal insulation solutions for high-end equipment.
To meet critical demands—such as fire-resistant thermal insulation for new energy vehicle power batteries, and high-temperature steam pipe insulation in nuclear power plants and marine vessels—the company has developed a comprehensive portfolio including rigid aerogel insulation boards, flexible aerogel blankets, fire barriers, and aerogel-based coatings. YIYUN has also planned an aerogel industrial park covering nearly 150 acres, with an expected additional output value exceeding RMB 500 million within the next 2–3 years.
